About Us

K9 Lifelines is a service dog program based out of Guelph, Ontario, specializing in psychiatric, mobility and multipurpose service dogs. K9 Lifelines has two programs to help individuals attain highly trained service dogs.

Our largest program is our Owner Assistive Program, which is designed to help families and individuals with disabilities through the entire process of training their own service dog. We assist with public access rights, selecting a reputable breeder, temperament testing, puppy foundations, advanced obedience, public access skills and customized skill training to mitigate the client’s disabilities.

Our second program is our Puppy to Lifeline program, which provides custom fully trained service dogs to individuals with disabilities. On average it takes 1.5 to 2 years of training before dogs and handlers in either program is ready to take our public access test and graduate as a service dog team.
